Starting the application

To begin, launch the application, either by clicking on the icon installed on your desktop by the installation package or by typing the URL in your web browser Dolibarr (The URL can be of the form http:// / localhost / dolibarr / for local installation but can be different in the case of a manual installation, then it will depend on the configuration of your Web server).

Connection

Login:

 login: the last step of the installation (eg admin)
 password: the last step of the installation (eg changeme)

Homepage

Once logged in, you arrive on the home page. It contains menu bars (top and side) and more informations in the center:

• A box reminding your login account and the date of last access.
• A box of statistics related to all activated modules.
• A box showing 'tasks' table (table containing informations of tasks to be done and tasks behind schedule). A weather sums it up.
• In the lower part, there may be other information boxes. The list depends upon boxes activated via the menu Home->Configuration->Boxes.

Utilisation des menus

Les entrées de menus des différents modules n'apparaissent dans les menus qu'une fois que ces modules ont été activés. Pour cela, voir la page Premiers_paramétrages.

Pour utiliser un module, cliquer sur le menu en rapport avec le module.

Par exemple, pour Lister les produits en stock (fonction apportée par les modules Produits et Stock, cliquer sur le menu Produits/Services.

Translation: The menu entries of the different modules do not appear in the menus untill these modules have been activated. To do this, see page Premiers_paramétrages (first settings).

To use a module, click on the menu associated with the module.

For example, to list the products in stock (function provided by the Products and Stock modules, click on the menu / Products.

A gauche vous avez le menu pour effectuer les différentes tâches en rapport avec les modules activés. Translation:On the left you have the menu to perform various tasks related to the activated modules.

Notons que l'organisation des menus peut dépendre du choix du gestionnaire de menu configuré dans Accueil - Configuration - Menus.
