Tasks that need decision

  • Next devcamp
=> M.KOHLHAAS propose to do next devcamp in Valence at the end of 2016 (november/october) before next release => Time is running fast, idea is for first week-end of december, communication by ATM will follow => OK for me. I can make 2 speak: 1) The unknown developer feature and 2) Strategy for the future of Dolibarr
=> P.GRAND propose to do next devcamp in Orleans in 2017, location is nearly ok, date to define.
=> A.SPANGARO try in october 2016 to organize the first meeting doli'Bar in Nancy. A small meeting to discuss around Dolibarr.
  • VAT complain on DoliStore
=> Send to paypal document prove that DoliStore can sell product with VAT even if customer have a VAT inter ID
=> Next step prestashop deal with VAT intra : waiting for develop feature coming soon
=> Project link Prestashop (Dolistore) <=> Dolibarr foundation (freeze on 3.9.x version) for 01-Janv-2017
=> A.SPANGARO will ask to admistrative institution what is the real rule

=> Put a mark system on dolistore for customer and categoryse by association => Issue 26 open

=> Sell the book "Bien gérer son entreprise avec Dolibarr" ( on Dolistore => Ask to book's editor how to deal with it 
=> Sell fundation membership card on DoliStore => To have new membres subscribing only because of the 20% discount will not bring anything to the fundation
=> New idea, send an e-mailing to all Dolistore customer to present the fundation and ask for participation. 7171 customers, 2300 subscribed to a newsletter we don't have.

=> Have a communication group (2-3 person) in charge to define the communication for the fundation. ATM can spend time with Bérengère to perform e-mailings and work with this group. Romain propose to participate

=> Communication to schools, Chamber of Commerce and Industry
=> ATM can propose ressource for communication and bank founding
  => Meeting by ATM scheduled with bank, feedback will be provided next meeting

=> Review cotisation amount, why not have a button to incitate subscription ?
  • Projet
=> Versionning (next = 5.0 ? Give a fun nickname like "The Naked Nerd") => LDR: Yes. 5.0
=> Give some community developers admiral role for simple bugfix merge allows more reactivity and give L.DESTAILLEUR more time to focus on new features and roadmap 

=> NO: As i said hundred of time MERGING PROCESS DOES NOT NEED TIME. It is even the opposite. Letting merging on a core branch by several people increase problems and the time required to merge (merging must be validated 2 times and revert must be often do, frequently manually). I spend around 3 mn per day for merging PRs so this point is ABSOLUTELY NOT A PROBLEM. To provide me more time, what i need is bug fixes or development on dedicated taks/issues. I fixed around 2 hundred of bugs at each version and this IS CONSUMING TIME. We must not compare time spent to merge and delay to merge (time is around 3mn per day, probably less), and delay to merge is often delayed on purpose for several reason: let people and other developper or user give their point of view, to avoid too fast decision when introducing a change, to wait another PR being fixed, and ton of other reason. But this won't change. Focusing on this is a lost of time. Merging PR does not need time, I spend more time to repeat this so many time than to make merging of a full one month set of PRs ;-)

  • Salons
=> Paris Open-Source Summit 16/17 november. Do we want a stand, who wants to go ? M.KOHLHAAS asks L.DESTAILLEUR about it.
=> GEN 4 in Metz, end of september. Tiaris is going, do we want a stand (1000 €), wo wants to go ? J.HEIMBURGER sends an e-mail to the board to have a vote.

  • Sell advers banners on site
=> Launch communication for preferred partners if they want to buy banners 
=> J.HEIMBURGER will write a communication on this topic
=> D-Booker (Romain's book editor) is interested to have a banner
  • Accountancy module | Informations :
=> Experimental in 4.0 => OK
=> New crowdfunding is planned in 2016 to improve the module
  • Draft of Dolibarr integrator label
=> Suggest to renew our whole partner/labels system (J.HEIMBURGER)
=> Suggestion need more info. What will be rules to define the label. Who will validate it ?
  • Why not creating a dolibarr developper training to get better code in core and modules. (J.HEIMBURGER)
=> Suggestion need more info. Who will train, who will be trained, How, When ?
  • Why not make mandatory a training and/or a test of capabilities to be Official Preferred Partner or a Dolibarr provider, in favor of Dolibarr reputation. (J.MENENT)
=> Suggestion need more info. Who will build the test, who will follow and correct tests. How, When ?

  • Why not make mandatory be preferred partner for a company or foundation member for a private person to build a Comunity, in favor the foundation has better control. (J.MENENT)
=> OK, currently, Portugal and Netherland have community but no preferred partner
=> On going action started to be prepared for certification

Running tasks

  • Communicate on Framasoft partnership
=> P.GRAND prepares an article
  • Framasoft partenership
=> Vote OK for renew dunning each year for framasoft fundation (with a limit of 5 / 1000 of turnover)
=> 500 € donated at the beginning of the year, and another donation later regarding the fundation results
  • Work on task bought to Regis.

=> P.GRAND has had news from Regis. He will push some modifications on tasks 15,16,17 and he's working on task 20.
  • Have 4-5 promotional videos for Dolibarr in english, 1000 € investment
=> vote OK for  max 1500 € (FR/EN/ES)

  • Communication to make about d-booker web site which talks a lot about Dolibarr currently (articles about Roamin's book, interviews, backlinks to dolibarr websites

=> Backbone : OK, 1st Austrian preferred partner, community contributions to continue
=> OpenDSI : OK, subscribtion to Dolibarr foundation to renew
=> Softar Consulting Limited : KO, lack of participation, but if starts being active in the community, can resend the application
=> : KO, no participation in Github or forums, TO BE DISCUSSED AGAIN, SEEMS TO MANAGE THE PORTUGESE WEBSITE
  => P.GRAND sends answers by e-mail and ask for partners to fill the wiki page. Jeffinfo should be added to, he's partner since june but nothing on the wiki page
  • New preferred partner rules description by R.DESCHAMPS
=> Ok for new description. To add in the wiki and translate into english and spanish
=> We need to add a section in the application form to ask for motivations and contributions, answering the rules
