Field ref ext: Difference between revisions

{{Flag en}} This field is never used and shown by Dolibarr. It is present into tables to allow an external system or interface to save its own internal reference to have a link between records into Dolibarr and records into an external system. For example, when an external application want to create an invoice (or other) into Dolibarr using the Dolibarr web service, application can provide its external reference. The web service will create the invoice and save this external reference into this field. The web service to get/read the invoice can also use this field as a search criterai to find the invoice.
