This page will resume typical action to organise a Dev'Camp.
What is a Dev'Camp
Most of the time a Dev'Camp is a meeting between all kind of contributors around a specfics technologies to provide training, remind best practice, excahnge non formal inforamtion, improve massively a product. Commonly a Dev'Camps is on a short time range, like a week-end or a week during manisfestation.
Who can go to a Dev'Camp
All kind of contributors (developpers,documentation writers) can go to a dev'camp. But a leader have to be designated to schedule the programms. Expert members will indicate and communicate about the technologies and can help beginner.
What kind of topic is in DevCamps
- Training - Special feature to build (may be the goal of a Dev'Camp) - Update project documentation
Find a place
Be sure the place where you want to organize is ok regarding security, mobility and insurance.
Launch communication
Helping by a mailling list or community web site, launch the communication. According the number of attendes, be sure the place you think about is the right one. Also be sure to provide at least some food, and lot's of coffee and tea. It's a well know fact, coders transform cafenine into code line.
