Introduction
Smart Assistant embeds an AI operations team inside Dolibarr. Five specialized agents continuously monitor your ERP data and turn it into prioritized, actionable recommendations - so business owners and managers spend minutes, not days, on operational review.
The module is a thin, open-source (GPLv3) connector to the hosted Smart Assistant service: all intelligence (agents, AI analysis, scheduling, recommendations) runs server-side on the service, accessed over HTTPS with a per-instance token and read-only access to the Dolibarr REST API.
Features
- Embedded dashboard - the AI dashboard renders inside Dolibarr (menu: Smart Assistant → Dashboard), following the Dolibarr light/dark theme.
- Five specialized agents :
- Revenue & Sales Ops - leads, opportunities, quotes, renewals, upsell signals
- Customer Success - health scores, churn risk, retention plays, support trends
- Procurement & Inventory - reorder points, supplier performance, stock forecasts
- Operations Orchestration - process bottlenecks, stalled workflows, escalations
- Business Intelligence - trend analysis, executive summaries, cross-agent coordination
- Prioritized recommendations - every recommendation has a priority, a rationale, and (when it targets a single record) a direct link to the related Dolibarr page.
- Human-in-the-loop actions - suggested actions are executed only after your approval.
- Org memory - agents remember decisions and context across runs (no sensitive data is stored).
- Continuous monitoring - agents run on a configurable schedule (weekday business hours by default).
Installation / Upgrade
- Install the module ZIP (Setup → Modules/Applications → Install external module) or copy the smartassistant folder into htdocs/custom/.
- Enable Smart Assistant in Setup → Modules/Applications.
- Open Smart Assistant → Setup : enter your Dolibarr URL and a read-only API key, then click Connect.
- Open Smart Assistant → Dashboard - agents begin their first analysis.
Requirements
- Dolibarr 18+ (developed and tested against 23.x)
- PHP 7.4+ (PHP 8 recommended)
- Dolibarr REST API enabled with a read-only API key (created in Setup → API / user settings)
- HTTPS on both the Dolibarr site and the hosted service
- Module ID 194000 (reserved range 194000-194019)
