SalonManager turns Dolibarr into a complete hair salon management software: appointments, per-stylist schedule, colour processing time, colour record cards, packages, gift cards, loyalty, commissions and invoicing are all driven from a single interface, with no third-party software, no commission per appointment and no per-chair subscription. Because everything stays 100% native Dolibarr, you also get a full ERP: customers, catalogue, stock, accounting, VAT and electronic invoicing.
A schedule per stylist, in fifteen-minute steps
The schedule shows one column per stylist in fifteen-minute steps, with opening hours shaded and every appointment in its place. Working hours are set day by day including the lunch break, and time off and exceptional openings are laid on top without touching the usual pattern. You switch from day view to week view, and from one stylist to the whole team, in one click.
Processing time, handled for what it really is
A colour does not occupy the stylist for its entire duration. SalonManager splits a service into phases: application, processing time, rinse, finish. During processing the stylist is made available again for another client while the chair stays busy. That split is what lets you fill a day without overloading it - and it is exactly what a general-purpose calendar cannot do.
Online booking
The optional client portal lets your clients book without a Dolibarr account: they choose the service, the stylist and a genuinely free slot, confirm their identity, and their customer record is created automatically. Requests land in a "registrations to approve" screen: nothing reaches the schedule without your agreement. A waiting list collects the clients to call back as soon as a slot frees up.
Skills: who can do what
Each stylist carries their own skills, and each service its own requirements. A colour service is only offered on the schedule of the stylists who perform it; a balayage never lands on the apprentice. Availability search combines skill, working hours and occupancy: what it offers can actually be done.
Colour record card and patch test
The record card keeps, client by client, the formulas applied: shades, developer volumes, processing time, result obtained and observations. At the next visit the colourist picks up the right formula instead of reconstructing it from memory. The patch test - the allergy test required before an oxidative colour - is recorded with its date, so you always know whether it is still valid. Client consents are tracked with their date.
Packages, gift cards and loyalty
Sell packages (ten blow-dries, a year of cuts): each session used is deducted automatically at the appointment, and a report flags those about to expire. Gift cards have their balance and their movement log. The loyalty scheme credits points when the appointment is closed, and every balance is the verifiable sum of its log - not a counter adjusted by hand.
Stylist commissions
Commission rules are defined per stylist, per service or per family, as a percentage or an amount, with tiers. The calculation runs on appointments that were actually completed, and an appointment reopened then closed again is never counted twice. The productivity report gives, per stylist, the revenue achieved, the number of clients and the average ticket.
Prices, services and several salons
Services are native Dolibarr services, with their duration and their price. If you run several salons, each has its own hours, its own team and its own price list: the same blow-dry can be 25 EUR downtown and 22 EUR in the suburbs, without duplicating the catalogue.
Native invoicing and electronic invoicing
The whole commercial chain is 100% native Dolibarr: taking payment for an appointment produces a Dolibarr invoice, with its numbering, its templates and its accounting. Everything billable - services, retail products, packages, gift cards - is a native product or service, and is therefore ready for Factur-X invoices sent to an e-invoicing platform. No bridge, no re-keying.
A module built for the trade
SalonManager ships in five languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian) with no text hard-coded in the source, and is compatible with Dolibarr v18 to v24. The appointment follows a ten-state cycle, from option to closing, including no-shows and cancellations. All your data stays with you, in your own Dolibarr.

Installation
- Extract the module archive.
- Copy the module folder into
htdocs/custom/. - In Dolibarr, open Home → Setup → Modules/Applications and enable the module.
- Grant the required permissions to the relevant users or groups.
- Open the module setup page and review its settings before going live.
Update
Before updating, back up the Dolibarr database and documents. Replace the module folder with the new version, then open its setup page to apply any migrations.
Rights and permissions
Access is controlled through Dolibarr permissions. Grant each business role only the rights it needs.
